BAND PROGRAMS
Sterling Heights High School offers several band programs for students.
- Marching Band
- 9th-12th grade
- Color Guard is an option for students who do not play an instrument
- Jazz Band
- By audition only
- Student must also be in another band class
- Cadet Band
- By audition only (incoming 9th graders qualify for this band based on their experience in 8th grade band)
- All 9th graders are placed into Cadet Band
- Concert Band
- By audition only
- Auditions take place after Spring Break
- Symphonic Band
- By audition only
- Auditions take place after Spring Break
